Mmmhmm... Guess who found her way home last night?

You got it. Xena took the 'Lassie Come Home' movie to heart and made her way from North Jkson to South Jkson. A lady found her wandering through a nearby neighborhood and she still had our collar and tag on. I have no way to get ahold of the guy we had adopted her to.

Not that I think we could give her back at this point. She was hungry and thirsty. The pads of her feet are a little sore (from her journey I'm guessing) and she was pretty matted. Poor girl.

So just in time for Gracie's birthday, Thanksgiving, and family coming over Xena has come home, we're pretty sure to stay.

My sweet baby girl is 1 today!

A year ago today, at 9:30 I had my 34 week appt with Dr. Rehburg and he said I had finally gone from 3 cm to 4 but he wanted to see if I could last another day or so. I had been contracting for over 2 weeks and threatened to call and get his wife baby crazy (we were friends) if he didn't induce or stop the contractions because I didn't want to go into labour on Thanksgiving when he was out of town and I wanted my DH with me when our little girl was born but unless she was born during the daytime I would be completely by myself since DH would have to watch our 11 month old son. Sooooo... Rehburg induced and sweet Gracie Girl was born about 6 weeks early, but at almost 8 pounds! Can't imagine life without my sweet girl!

Wish List

So Nana Lorie asked us for a wish list for Daniel and Gracie's birthdays and Christmas.

Basically, we are very into Dora and Diego. Daniel likes toy cars and anything that moves and makes noise, but PLEASE remember that anything Daniel plays with Gracie plays with so no small toys please. Gracie, when she's not trying to play with whatever Daniel has, is more about teddy bears and things... but again... she always wants to play with Daniel's things too.

Clothing-wise. Daniel is wearing a 18 mos in pants right now and a 24 mos. in shirts or one-piece things. Gracie is wearing 18 mos in everything. Daniel is currently in a size 4 shoe (about to move up though) and Gracie's in a 3 (close to needing to move up).

We are about to start potty training Daniel and he's about outgrown his crib.

And to help out I did a WalMart wish list just for ideas of what they liked when we walked through (Ok... the clothes were Mommy liked sorts of things)
