Welcome to our journey through veggies- actually we've only tried to veggies. First, carrots and then squash- Daniel actually did like the squash- even though the pictures don't look like it.

A life worth living

One of the women from my mother's support group posted this. Her son, Nolan, has Down's syndrome and some people told her to end her pregnancy because he would not be "normal"- this is a beautiful montage of how precious all life is.

Humility

That last post made it sound like we don't apprecicate the blessings that we've been entrusted with. We have several friends that are facing different problems- and I want all of you to know how much we love you and will always be there for you. I couldn't appreciate what I have now if you had never been in our lives.

Dear St. Anthony, after all these years in the school of Christ, I still haven't learned the lesson of true humility. My feelings are easily ruffled. Quick to take offense, I am slow to forgive. St. Anthony, Example of Humility, teach me the importance and necessity of this Christian virtue. In the presence of Jesus, who humbled Himself and whom the Father exalted, remember also these special intentions of mine.
